In a world where children face increasing challenges, the presence of a supportive, understanding adult holds great power.
The conference “(To) Be a Pedagogical Inspiration” is for those who wish to strengthen their practice through reflection, connection and meaningful presence.
Together, we’ll explore how to remain attentive and focused on what truly matters: the child’s well-being and development.
The official languages of the conference are Slovenian, Croatian, and English.
Presentations will be delivered in the official languages of the conference; speakers may present their contributions in any of these languages. Abstracts will be provided in English.
The conference will combine inspiring lectures, practice-based presentations, and interactive workshops.
– how we move from delivering knowledge to guiding the learning process, where the child takes a more active role, and the teacher, through thoughtful questioning, feedback, and structure, supports understanding.
– how to gradually guide students toward greater responsibility for their own learning, decisions, and behaviour, and how to balance support with independence.
– how, through the organization of space, teaching approaches, and relationships, we create an environment that enables cooperation, inclusion, and progress for all children, including those with special needs.
“Because you believe that quality practice is built on observation, respect, and a professional relationship with the child.”
